Default The most tiresome thing...

My spouse never makes the bed when he wakes up in the morning. I sleep very little, thus get up much earlier than he does, and since we have an agreement on whomever gets out of the bed last makes it, it is always his turn. Unfortunately, he never keeps his end of the deal and always fails to make the bed - which drives me crazy.
Does your significant do anything that annoys you a lot? If not, what is the most annoying thing about him that you feel comfortable to share?

I'm terrible at remembering to make the bed, or even caring for that matter. I dunno.. but in the back of my mind I just know I'm gunna mess it up again tomorrow. It's sad, I know. I amuse myself

well, we don't have problems with our bed. but what really annoys me is his temper. I just hate it when he flares up so easily at so little things.

I hate it how mail tends to accumulate and create clutter... An open piece of mail can go right back in the pile, too, instead of being properly dealt with (as in "filed"). We've had numerous talks about it, and hubby would rather have me take care of mail - all of it. Nope. Either we both do it, or I won't touch it either.

There are only three things that annoy me about the husband: his gambling, his drinking and the time he spends with his friends which is more than what he spends with us.

I really don`t care if the bed gets made. What bothers me the most about my hubby is his drinking. He is gonna kill himself. He did switch from whiskey to beer, which does keep him from getting sloppy drunk. But I still don`t like it. I don`t nag him though. He goes to work every day, doesn`t hit me or call me names. He helps around the house and he is an adult and knows what the drinking is doing to him.

This might seem really petty, but he doesn't clear his throat like normal people do. He makes the long growling noise, and for some reason, it just really irritates me! He knows it irritates me, but he does it anyway.

That's the worst part of it, isn't it? When they know they do something that is unpleasant to others around them, and yet do it anyway. I'd find something that irritates the heck out of him and do it 30 times a day!! Let him know what it feels like.

Yes, I have told him time and time againg and he keeps doing it. He isn't even polite enough to go do it in another room. It is so disgusting sounding. He's weird. He won't fart in front of me, but he'll do this. Not that I want him to fart in front of me either.

Oh, men make the most annoying noises! And you're absolutely right, they tend to take pleasure out of repeat them as much as possible so that we get even more pissed off, lol.

God forbid!! If I had to be around a guy who'd fart in my presence, that would mean WAR. Absolutely intolerable.

Depending on how tired you are of the disgusting noises he makes, I'd suggest setting some kind of unpleasant consequences for them. (Just like with kids, it works for any other unwanted habit - not right away, but if you stick to it and consistently bring those consequences, it will work.) Inform him that "if you do this, I do that." It can be something simple or something drastic, like kicking him out to sleep on the couch for a couple of days.
