Is it just me, but do husbands generally think that what they do is ok or right and if we the wifes do the same thing we are wrong? Its happened so many times when my hubby points out something to me saying this is wrong and its not good to do this or say this or talk this way, but yet Ive seen him do the same thing too! When it comes to the point where you say you do that too, well then it kind of turns bad and comes to a point where there maybe an argument. Sometimes I just give up and say ok fine, let it me, I'm the bady I'm the one wrong! |

Oh yeh typical of men! Even my hubby acts like that, he does something its ok, if I do same thing, why did I do that? Did I ask? And in the end its wrong what I did! Quote:

It is not possible for a person to be always right or wrong. When my husband goes on and on about that, we get into lengthy conversations and I ask him to justify his point. Sometimes he ends up being right but there are times that he admits he was wrong as well.

It does go both ways. I suppose most of us have seen wives who are always right, and the husband would not even waste his breath trying to argue or prove anything - he knows it's hopeless, so he lets her have her way.

I suppose it does go both ways, but I think what interferes is the MALE ego, which makes them think they are right all the time!

It happens to the best of us. My husband use to be like that to a point too, but not much anymore. I would just ignore it. Let him think that he is always right but you know better.

Oh yeah, my husband used to be worse about that than he is now though. I got to the point where I would just be like okay. But I would say it in a way that he knew I disagreed even though I said it calmly and not sarcastically. Then he would keep trying to prove his point and I'd be like I accept that you think this is right and taht is your opinion, but I know I'm right. He eventually got tired of trying to prove he was right and now it seems like it happens much less.

Arguments are part of married life, and as long as you both keep it healthy and controlled, there is no problem with that. A husband or a wife can always say that he or she is right, but an argument does not settle that. A more serious talk can better settle the issue.
