Default Husbands and kids!

My husband drives me crazy. It is like he gets mad at me whenever one of my kids do something wrong~ like it is my fault!

My son is out of town right now and needs his truck inspected. So my husband gets mad at me because my son didn't get the truck inspected before he left town. Now what does that even have to do with me??

Anyone else have a husband like this?

My hubby is not of that mentality, instead to escape from all these things i first shout at him if anything wrong goes at home, so he cools down. Why can't you try this formula. Whether it's your mistake or not, you try to take action or pretend for a while as if your serious in that matter, and they'll be calm & quite, try this and tell me how it worked for you.

My dad is like that always blaming my mom for our wrong doings. It's like he's not part of the parenting thingy. I don't like those kind of guys so I hope my hubby will not do that to me in the future.

My uncle is just like that or actually was like that with my aunty. He always takes the anger out on her no matter what, although this has been cut down a lot since their children have grown older, as they stick up for their mum.

We used to tell my aunty to to don't take it, but shes such a softy, and the typical cultured wife! Although things are better now and she is much less stressed.

I usually will ask him why he is yelling at me, since it has nothing to do with me. Then he says, " I am not yelling at you, I am just telling you." Then I say, "Oh, I am not interested in hearing it."
Then he gets mad at me

That wouldn't fly with me. Sometimes my husband does get a little emotional about something that goes wrong in our life, but I check him every time I think it is getting to the point of being angry with me for something I've got nothing to do with. He, too, will usually say, "Oh, I'm not yelling af YOU." Well, if I'm the one listening, you ARE.

sometimes people have to blow some steam off. Let them yell
a bit, atleast it will vent the pent up anger and they won't
go postal sometime ;-)

There are really partners who's like that. Well, why don't you tried to talked this problem with him? Tell him all that you feel every time he wants to get angry? Maybe, this could help to both of you solve your conflicts.

chjoy~ I always ask him to not yell at me about what they do, but he says, "I'm not yelling at you, I am just telling you about it." I am so use to it that now I tend to ignore him.
