Yoga many people now is actually just an aspect of yoga, the physical and mental exercise through certain postures and movement. Yoga is actually a holistic system of self improvement, which is aimed to get the practitioner self realization. So, do you do yoga for that original purpose or just the physical and mental exercise called asanas?

I'm absolutely sure that the most people only use Yoga as the complex of the useful exercises. People in the most cases are overloaded with the stresses and everyday problems and they have no time for the complicated mental exercises.

I never practise yoga to get self realisation.. how does it help getting self realisation though? |
