Surya Namaskar
I have been told by a good friend of mine that Surya Namaskar (Sun Salutation) is a yoga asanas (technique) which is very effective and helps in not just losing weight but also helps the body in many different ways.
At first Surya Namaskar can be difficult, but apparently with time you come to perfection. Yoga as you may know is about breathing exercises and again so is surya namaskar and as you will perform surya namaskar you will begin to breathe deeper and clearer too.
If done properly 24 surya namaskar's are equivalent to 500 sit ups/pull ups. And apparently doing about 50 surya namaskar's means an hour at the gym. Talking about calories, by doing one full surya namaskar you burn 13.91 kcal, so it means you burn a lot of calories, bingo!
I did some research from friends who have do surya namaskar, and they also vouched for it and said its really beneficial, so i will surely try this too! And also within 2 weeks time or so, update the thread!
