anyone here whose been into it(yoga)? can you share your real experienced on this kind of exercise? not basing on the book but on your own..how effective is this in weight loss?

I do yoga for years but I cannot say if it is effective to lose weight. I am born slim and it's difficult for me to gain weight, no matter how much food I eat.

I practiced yoga for a years, alone. For me, this really helpful to relax your mind. Sometimes, I will just play an instrumental music and concentrate with myself. By the way, where do you usually have your yoga?

Though there are many techniques for doing exercise. yoga is the ancient one. I practiced yoga for 6 months. Yoga is all based on Aasnas and breathing technique. To get benefited from yoga one must breathe accordingly. It really a great thing to get relaxation of body and mind. |

Is Yoga an activity that you have to continue to practice for the rest of your life if you want to continue to stay stress-free and peaceful? Can Yoga have lasting effects even after not practing Yoga for a long time?
