I had heard a lot about yoga and how effective it was, but never tried it myself. But it has only been something like a month since I started yoga, and I can see a big difference, not just in my fitness but I also feel better mentally! At first yoga can be difficult, but as you gradually start doing it you get used to it and will also start enjoying it, and it will eventually become an everyday routine. The best advantages of doing yoga is that you can target different mental and physical problems with different postures and it is very effective without any difficult work! But it is very important that you do the postures right, either get a very well explained book, dvd, or attend yoga classes! |

With pranayam you will defiantly notice many different changes in your body! |

How I want to try yoga too but it requires lots of concentration. I just can't get away thinking of several tasks to accomplish at work. Can you tell what motivated you to do yoga? Was there some sort of mind conditioning before you entered into it?

I have always been interested in yoga but there are no yoga classes in my area. Can you give me a link to a yoga site in the internet and tell me how to start learning it? Thanks a lot.

I haven't tried yoga yet but that exercise is quite interesting. When one tries a yoga, she/he should learn how to meditate and focus. I wonder, how was the meditation done? I mean, what if you had a lot of problems and you kept thinking of it, what should you do to gain the concentration it requires?

I agree with Bethoven, it would be difficult to concentrate if you had lots of problem. However, my aunt told me that yoga is good for the mind and body. Whenever she does it, she feels she could control herself, how true is it? Well I guess, it seems that yoga is more than just an exercise.

Yes, I agree that yoga is more than just an exercise. It is actually a holistic approach to develop our physical and mental (and spiritual also if someone do the complete yoga and not just the postures) capacity.
