Do you cook stuffed peppers? We love them, and when we have bell peppers in our vegetable garden, I make them all the time. I used ground beef mixed with rice for stuffing, and I steam the peppers instead of baking or using a frying pan - they get cooked more evenly this way.

What did you wait so long for Antk? We've been talking gardens for a while now. We have ours all planted and the plants are thriving. I love stuffed peppers too. I have only stuffed with goulash though. I am not a fan of rice. I know a lot of people stuff with spanish rice but I don't know how to make it. Steaming sounds like a great way to make them too. How long do you steam for? |

I eat these all the time, I normally stuff them with chopped mushroom, onion and smoked bacon or I'll do tuna all topped off with 3 different cheeses, so yummy.

| 30 minutes is usually enough, sometimes less than that. I can tell by the look of them when they are ready, but if I don't have the time to watch the cooking, I'll just set the timer for 30 minutes.
