As their is is saying" prevention is better than cure" try these few steps to void from gaining weight 1. Drink more water, as it helps in diluting/ burning the deposited fat. 2. Avoid oil/oily food, as it is less digested and contains fat in it. 3.Avoid cholesterol content food. 4. Have high fibre & high protein diet, as they help in burning of fat. 5.Proper & required exercises are needed. 6.proper intake of food intime is needed. 7.easily digestible food is required. 8. do not over cook the food, especially, vegetables & green leafy vegetables. 9.Avoid bakery items, and food prepared outside, such as, snacks, fast foods. 10.Food that prevents from gastritis/ gastric irritation is avoided. |

Very useful tips. If these tips will be followed by everyone I am sure that more people will prevent serious sickness such as cancers etc. Let's live a healthy lifestyle.

Very good tips. One really bad habit of mine is drinking soda. I tried to cut back and did good for awhile. I seem to go in spurts, I'll go without it for about a week or two. Then I will one or maybe even two a day for a week or two. I need to be more consistent.

Phew somehow I managed to stay away from sodas for almost 2 weeks now. Although thinking about it makes me crave for some. T_T I'll have to resist it....

I would have to say that I agree this is a great list to go by . The one thing that I have done when I am trying to lose weight in stead of drinking plan water I will add just a little bit of lemon or natural juice like peach juice . Just enough to flavor the water . I do not use the powder packets . or I drink real lemonade and ice tea mixed . It is really good.

Thank you for that tips,kantha. Well, I would try to apply that soon. By the way, one of my friend told me that, drinking too much water would make our tummy big? How true is this? And a cold water too could make us get bigger? |

That is true I did not see that . But I think we can all learn from just doing these steps an easier and healthier lifestyle or a start of one. Wouldnt you agree

One good tip to go by is not eating later in the evening. This is really hard for me because that is the time I start to settle down for the evening and sometimes watch TV. This is very dangerous. I try not to have junk food in the hous so when the craving does hit, there is nothing I could do about it anyway.

I am so happy went to the doctors yesturday and I found out that I am on the right path... I have lost 4 more pounds in a week . I think that that is awesome. My doc says that I am doing great . Thanks for all the support and ideas
