Question Need to lose weight

Why do you need to lose weight?
You will be required to loose weight if your present weight is higher than the recommended weight for your height & age. There area few instances where being a little overweight is permissible, such as during pregnancy or Lactation. However, it is essential to remember that increased weight at other times can be harmful to your body in the long term.

Hmm I kinda forgot how to determine your recommended weight for your height and age. I know I've seen it somewhere over the internet. Well obesity is really not a good thing so everyone should maintain a healthy body.

Having too much weight on the body is never good because it can cause unnecessary stress on the body and the mind, but the recommended weight for a person's height and age isn't always accurate.

You can figure this out using a BMI (Body Mass Index). I found one for you if anyone's interested:

http://www.aarp.org/health/healthyliving/bmi_calculator/?CMP=KNC-360I-GOOGLE-HEA&HBX_PK=bmi_calculator

Below the chart on the left, you'll see which percentages are healthy/not so healthy.

All you'll need to know is your height and weight.

Speaking of the recommended weight - it is only a guideline and cannot be taken to the face value. We all have different bone structure, height and hereditary conditions and we need to have a realistic view of what our ideal weight should be.

People are too busy comparing their own weight to the recommended weight. That's not healthy. It's okay to want to lose weight, but you shouldn't try to shed pounds if it's become an obsession.

Unfortunately, the main reason for it becoming an obsession is what people see on the media. In my opinion, there should be a more realistic approach as to how women or men should look. Not everyone is built to have washboard stomachs or tiny little size 0 bodies.

I wish people cared more about how healthy they were versus how they look. Some people are perfectly healthy, and they don't have the popular look. I really think the media is so negative, and I hope one day people won't care as much and the media will focus on healthy looking people.

Hello ! I just wish that I could fit in comfortably in my favorite jeans.
Ever since I gained weight after childbirth my weight has been up and down, I never really lost the weight that I had gained.

That's really the same case as other moms out there. I think you should exercise more to eliminate the fats. I don't know what's the secret to that but that is possible since my biology teacher way back in highschool already got pregnant for 3 times already still she's a very sexy mom.
