| Cooking oils: Instead of depending only on safflower or sunflower oil (sold under different brand names), welcome other cooking oils also, like filtered groundnut oil, til oil and olive oil, the latter especially for western cooking. Include foods containing omega 3 FA in your diet. The sources are cold river fish, flaxseeds, walnuts, and soyabean oil.

We use olive oil. There are also variations of vegetable oils we use because it contains low cholesterol. I haven't tried using nut oils though. But I have heard that they are healthy to use.

My family used to use oil, too, back when we did a lot of cooking. Olive oil was always good on dishes like pasta. Just put a little bit on top, and it tasted better. I did think it was a little too greasy though.

We use walnut oil. It does go rancid quickly but it is high in omega 6 and omega 3. We also love the flavor of extra virgin olive oil.
