One of the best ways to lose weight easily and with joy is to have lot of sex. It is said that sex is the best exercise, it includes the use of all the muscles and increases blood circulation in ths body followed by weight loss.

Apparently with half an hour of sex you can lose anywhere between 150-250 calories.

Of course you have to remember that the sex needs to be quite energetic to gain benefits.

I much prefer sexercise then exercise though!!

To antkmom : though i havent personally exerted any effort in knowing the factual veracity of this idea (that sex is the best exercise!), i have heard a lot of this sort since time immemorial. And personally too, i just attribute that to experience. no matter what is said about it, thats one activity which should be enjoyed by both parties, huh!

I don't know about this one. I keep hearing that sex is a great exercise, but somehow I don't think that you can lose a lot of weight on that alone.

Anyway, aside from loosing weight, it is also good for the heart, if you do it minimum of 3x a week, it can prevent heart attacks...

SweetZ approves of this post! Not only does sex burn calories, but it also can serve as a good distraction from the fridge.. instead of waking up in the night to indulge in some sweets, why not nudge your sweetie instead.. I'm sure he'd be happy to oblige.

I mustn't be having enough Or maybe I should be heavier than I am lol interesting to know if it does work and how many times a day and for how long to loose weight. I need to lose a stone how long would that take me and how often ? lol

i concur with you on this it does help you lose weight on the premise that you also watch what food you eat..coz if its not then its not really that effective..

LOL, I am with you all the way on that. I get on my husband's case about this quite often and all he can say about it is ''it's not my fault if you're the Energizer bunny!'' So, in response to the thread, I'd love to test the veracity of this idea but I'm afraid my partner would be left far behind!

Sounds like a good way to lose weight to me!! I've noticed, the more sex I have the more energy I have and the more motivated I become in life in general. It's a very healthy thing!!

Plus, it takes away headaches and stomach aches..

of course I wouldn't rely only on sex in my exercise regimen. But it is definitely the only thing I can motivate myself to do lol =]

it does burn calories, the more "involved" the more calories burned... depends on my mood how good of a workout i get lol =]
