Default What to wear

Do you think that the mothers of the bride and groom should always wear long dresses?

My son is getting married in July and I was going to wear a sundress. Now I am rethinking this because my mother in law told me I should be wearing a long dress.

The boys aren'[t wearing tux's, just black pants and white shirts. The bride is pregnant and wearing a maturnity wedding dress.

What do you think?

I say go with the sundress if that is what makes you feel comfortable. Like you said, they aren't going super fancy!

Plus it's summer and you don't have to wear a long dress. You would be too hot!

Congrats again on the upcoming wedding!

Definitely go with whatever suits you and you feel comfortable in, that long dress business is dark ages, people wear what they like now. Once it's not like a mini then your fine lol

When I went shopping for this dress, I saw one that I was a " mother of the groom" looking dress...like for older moms. I guess I don't consider myself that old. Then I saw this dress and love it.
Best part, it was $70 on sale for $35, but my friend worked at the store and bought it for me with her discount and a coupon~ $20!! I spent that much on my shoes to match.
