Do you think that the mothers of the bride and groom should always wear long dresses? My son is getting married in July and I was going to wear a sundress. Now I am rethinking this because my mother in law told me I should be wearing a long dress. The boys aren'[t wearing tux's, just black pants and white shirts. The bride is pregnant and wearing a maturnity wedding dress. What do you think? |

I say go with the sundress if that is what makes you feel comfortable. Like you said, they aren't going super fancy! Plus it's summer and you don't have to wear a long dress. You would be too hot! Congrats again on the upcoming wedding! |

Definitely go with whatever suits you and you feel comfortable in, that long dress business is dark ages, people wear what they like now. Once it's not like a mini then your fine lol

When I went shopping for this dress, I saw one that I was a " mother of the groom" looking dress...like for older moms. I guess I don't consider myself that old. Then I saw this dress and love it. Best part, it was $70 on sale for $35, but my friend worked at the store and bought it for me with her discount and a coupon~ $20!! I spent that much on my shoes to match. |
