When I was married it was in my home town in our local church. Now there are so many people getting married on the beach, in the woods, in campgrounds. What would be your choose for the best wedding location?

If I were to do it all over again, I might choose a small family wedding held right on the beach.

I got married in the mosque. Just me and my husband the imam and 2 witnesses. Then we had a casual party in the back yard with all of my family. There was lots of food and laughter and good times. Nothing fancy, just a nice celebration with family.

well i ve a total different idea for my wedding....dunno if it ll go tht ways as my parents want in a lil diff manner.....!

at the moment no guy to get married ....but almost of the wedding plans r fixed....

I wish to do a Mehendi Party by the pool which would than be converted to a dance party later @ night since we ve got a lovely club house in my society, than a wedding in court and a reception - with all my close n near n dear ones.....n ppl whom I want....n no one extra!

Another idea is to go get married jus a wedding with all the ceremonies @ someplace like udaipur , jodhpur , goa - suggestions for locations r welcome.....! jus my n his immediate family members n some closest set of frens.....

My Parents want a nice Mehendi & Sangeet - ghazal function @ one of the lawns in the society, a cricket match, wedding in the house lawn (i would prefer) or at one of the lawns in society, a reception than.

sounds like i can jus get married but only hassle no guy ...to get married tooo...lolzzzzz

We wanted to marry on the beach but it was not legal for my country, so we had a beautiful church and all the lovely trimmings that come with a wedding. In the end I was glad it didn't happen on the beach cos the sand would have been everywhere.

I am a huge fan of the beach, sand and all. I would love it there.

@ antkmom - def. beach sand n corals......lovely place to get married tooo.....i remmeber it was in one of the hindi movies thy had shown in australia.....think it was salaam namastey.....!!!

marriages of christian families are always solmnised in holly churches and not in public. where as other castes celabrates their marriages in tempels and in open pandals.in churches it is solmnised by qualified fathers.

well every religion have their own way for ceremonies of marriages....

I think big weddings are over-rated. My wife strongly disagrees
with me on this though ;-)
