Default No wedding?

I don't know if I want a wedding... I mean I don't wear dresses, and I hate weddings because of all of the "look at me, look at me" that goes on. Anyone just gone down to city hall?

If that is not something you want to do, then city hall is the best option there is. Besides, weddings are not only a headache, but they are quite expensive as well. I think weddings are more symbolic today than anything else and if I had to do it all over again, it would be definitely a short trip to the city hall for me.

I say, do what makes you happy. If you're not comfortable doing it that way, then do it the easiest way for you.

I agree, do what makes you happy.

My sister and her husband went on vacation together and came home married. They didn't want the whole wedding thing too.
Once they came home we had a family reception for them.

I think there's just so much pressure and expectation that's attached to getting married. It's hard too when society really makes us feel like there's only one right way to do it.

I think it's just fine if you want to go to city hall. Just be prepared, there maybe some unhappy family members, but it is what you guys want to do that matters most.

Precisely, getting married may be a happy occasion for our whole family and loved ones; nevertheless, it ultimately comes down to what the couple wants to do.
