Default Shopping time before wedding

How long do you before the wedding do you think you should start shopping, or did you spend before your wedding?

Everyone has their own views and opinions and its good to get tips, something which I can pass on to my little sis when she decides a date for her wedding.

For my wedding I went to Pakistan and shopped 2 months before, and got all the things I need 2 months before from shoes, my bag, makeup and all, which made it easier for me as I knew I had everything and didn't have to rush to the last minute to get anything.

I'm the kind of person that likes to plan ahead, so I wouldn't wait too long before I went shopping. Even if I wasn't engaged, I would quitely put things away or save money for the big day. If you want a cheap wedding dress, you should go to lots of sales and pick the best one when you see it, not wait for the wedding day to come.

I agree with Hirami. It is very convenient to start purchasing certain things even when you have not set a date yet. This way, you can relax and shop worry free for other items that you will need once the date is set.

I know that weight can fluctuate, so you may not want to start buying a dress yet, but you can do other things. You can make note of what kind of flowers you'd like to have at your wedding, write down ideas for the best place for a wedding, decide on what kind of food and cake to have. Start writing things down.

I think it depends solely on the individual. Some people shop better last minute, while others may feel as though they should start early to prevent forgetting anything.

Everyone is right. Bottom line is, its start with a perfect planning, budgeting and scheduling. Time frame will depends how big is the celebration will be. The bigger the earlier you have to get started...
