Any Idol fans out there?

I loved this season! The finale was awesome. When Adam and Kris sang WE ARE THE CHAMPIONS I thought it was so fitting.

I was so happy that Kris won. I thought that the judges were singeling out Adam to be the winner from the beginning. Both Adam and Kris are great singers with totally different styles.

I really haven't watched the show since it first came out. Kelly Clarkson actually won the last one I watched (the whole season that is).

What was the big thing with the winner this season? Why was everybody shocked at the end? and appeared to be upset? Was Adam better than Kris? I wonder what the winning margin was?

Everyone was expecting Adam to win because from the very start, he was the judges' favorite. Kris, on the other hand, was the kind of contestant that you wouldn't expect to win because his voice wasn't as powerful as Adam's. But he constantly surprised the audience with his performances..sticking with his own style of music that he was able to beat Danny Gokey in the number 2 spot and eventually landed first place in the finals.

I just found out Paula will not be returning this season for American Idol. I don't think it would ever be the same without Paula. Now there are talks of different people being guest judges for the show like Joe Jonas, Victoria Beckham etc.

I am really not familiar with this show - I like watching it once in a while because of Simon Cowell but I can't stand the show in itself. I don't know how anyone can sit through a whole episode of this, let alone a a whole season.

The last season I really watched faithfully was the year that Carrie Underwood won. I liked her from the very beginning! Since then, I catch an episode here and there, but it seems repetitive to me sometimes.

I love America Idol but the only time I tune in is when they have everyone auditioning. I LOVE to hear all the people who think they are great singers but they stink lol. It's amazing. Remember William Hung hahaha. It's funny that he got a CD outta the deal. I think my little sister bought it!! lol. She said he was her hero, because he just cracked her up!!

It's nice to know that Ellen Degeneres was chosen as the 4th judge. I like her because she is so funny. I think she would make American Idol fun to watch. It will also balance out the harsh comments of Simon because she's nice.
