Someone told me that Cartoon Network weren't broadcasting as many cartoons as they used to do, instead showing reality shows. I had even heard that they were going to take the word "cartoon" out, and it would just be called "Network." Do you think that's true?

WOw! That would be really sad, because I think that channel is perfect just the way it is. I don't think they could ever take the word Cartoon out, because then their name would be pretty lame. Why would they have reality shows? Kids don't want to see those!! Hmm.. that's pretty upsetting news!

A lot of people that I know are very disappointed by the change of content. I do hope that they will get a lot of cartoons. When I last watched the channel, I noticed that they had lots of cartoons that had been aired in Canada a few years earlier.

I find that reality shows doesn’t have good effects on young kids. I rather make them watch cartoons. I have always enjoyed watching cartoons especially Tom & jerry on cartoon network. The change in content is quite disappointing. Luckily there are other channels that telecast only cartoons. I have already removed CN from our channel listing.

Wow, that's a pretty drastic action. I agree with you, though. I remember when there were reality shows aired for kids, and I never liked them. The ratings were never very good, and eventually, they were cancelled. Kids don't care about reality; they want cartoons.
