There's a lot of good science fiction and fantasy shows in the UK channels like "Torchwood," "Doctor Who," and "Merlin" to name a few. Watching their shows after watching American scifi and fantasy makes me feel so jealous. Does anyone share my feelings?

I like British comedy, but I have not explored their sci-fi and fantasy yet. I have heard about Doctor Who, I wonder whether I can find earlier seasons on DVD somewhere. Is it really good?

I haven't seen "Doctor Who," but I've heard that it was good and that its spin-off "Torchwood" is even better. I feel like American can really learn something from Britain's shows.
