I really like to watch shows online. I think I watch more content on my laptop than on my TV. Other than the website hulu, does anyone know of a really good site to watch TV and movies online for free?

I don't think there is a movie streaming online. You'll have to download it of course it's not legal but it's free. Mininova just shut down their site because of some law infringement.

I don't mind watching old movies online, as long as they're free and legal. Most of the movies posted on hulu are pretty old, but I had never seen them before.

I have been looking for a good, legal site where you can watch movies online. So far, I only know about YouTube, and of course the choice there is limited. I'll check out hulu. Do you have to download any software there?

Isn't watching free movies online legal? I thought it was only illegal if you downloaded the content? There was this site called www.watch-movies-links.net, but I just checked and the name must have changed again because I can't find it. This site has movies recorded by random people who go and see movies. It's how I keep up with the latest movies.. going to the movie theater can get too expensive. However, I made the acception for New Moon

I don't know about that, there isn't really a good site there that offers free latest movies. The only thing you can watch them is to download them.

You can always visit NeverPayForTv.com for some of the most popular shows and Yidio has a lot of ones with the current episodes as well. I got rid of my TV completely and canceled my cable subscription, it just doesn't make sense to pay for something I don't use anymore.

I'm working on convincing my dad that we don't need tv anymore lol, but it's the main thing he does, so I doubt it will happen. He needs to get a job

T_T Just a few moments ago our TV downstairs got wet due to overflow of water from upstairs. Wew good thing our PC has TV tunner so I don't have to worry. =)
