Perfect Bride is a new reality show which is being shown on Star Plus (so its viewable to people living in India and those who have subscribed to Star Plus in foreign countries, that's if its being shown there yet).

The concept of the show is very simple, to find a perfect bride, from a grooms point of view and his mothers point of view.

10 girls from all over India come together and live in one house to find their perfect groom. There are 5 boys who are known to be India's most eligible boys who also stay in the same house but in a separated section. And the mothers of these boys are with the girls, so they can know them better and judge them in order to know which is the best bride for their son.

The show is about emotions, romance, wooing their favorite boy, and the boys who have their favorite girls, after all there are 10 girls and only 5 boys.

Each week a bride is eliminated, which is judges by the mothers! But there is also a bride of the week each week which is decided by the audience votes, along with the mother of the week which is also decided by the audience votes.

Perfect bride is shown every day Monday - Friday 10pm and Saturday - Sunday 10.30pm.

Oh now that's a new reality show. I haven't heard of it I believe it's not going to be aired on our place since I think it's only available on India. But it's cool.

Sounds quite interesting - it almost reminds of More to Love. There are a lot of these reality shows coming out lately, but they are staged nonetheless...

I'm going to have to look that up. That's very interesting!! Nice way to mix things up. I got bored with reality tv a while back, but hey.. sounds like it's time to get back into it again I'm sure I could find this show on the internet somewhere

Why do they have the moms living with the girls , and the boys in a separate section ?

Hey hey !!!!!!!!!! very interesting show to hear only, previously in real life girls used to search for boys in Kings families and it is called as "SWAYAM VARAM " which means girl will select a boy as her life patner in the presence of everyone in the village by interviewing them personally.
