Desperate Housewives is a popular American television comedy-drama series. The show was created by Marc Cherry. He also served as the show’s runner. The popular series was produced by Cherry Productions and ABC studios. The show had Marc Cherry, George W. Perkins, John Pardee, Bob Daily, David Grossman, Larry Shaw, Sabrina Wind and Joe Murphy as its executive producers, as of the show’ fourth season.

The setting of Desperate Housewives is the street of Wisteria Lane located in the totally fictional American town of Fairview, in the Eagle State. Desperate Housewives looks at the lives of a group of women who are being watched over by on of their dead neighbors, as they struggle through domestic works and family problems, while they face the various secrets, mysteries and crimes that were hidden behind the doors of their beautiful suburban neighborhood, which is not what it actually seems.

Desperate Housewives features an ensemble cast, which is headed by Teri Hatcher who stars as Susan Mayer, Felicity Huffman playing Lynette Scavo, Marcia Cross starring as Bree Hodge, Eva Longoria Parker playing the character of Gabrielle Solis, Nicollette Sheridan starring as Edie Britt. From the start of the fourth season, Dana Delany was chosen to play Katherine Mayfair. The show is narrated by Brenda Strong playing the voice of the deceased Mary Alice Young.

Desperate Housewives has always been well received by the critics as well as the common audience. This is the reason that the show has become a multiple Emmy, Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild award winner. Also in the April 2007 Desperate Housewives was reported as the most popular show in its demographic around the world.

I love the show, im totally addicted to it! Full of excitement and suspense!

Something really good to watch with the girlies!

One of my favourite shows. The chracters are so life like and yet so funny. My favourite character is gabby becoz i am the most like her. . Well I just read a few days ago that they are going to kill off edie.

What did you think of the finale? Were you happy with the outcome of the Dave mystery? I was glad to see that he let MJ out of the car before crashing. What about the end? Do you think that Katherine or Susan is under that white vail?

I love this show but the housewives are getting older huh. I must say they still have the charm not to mention the sex apeal.

I like to see comedy dramas very much. So i could be a good fan of this. This show has created many audience as it attracts many cities.

Desperate housewives, its always good to watch it, as long as you stay in the flow and don't miss out. I remember the first series, it was a big hit with girls! Then i kind of lost track, but my friends got all the series, so will hopefully watch them before school starts!

Its not really a comedy tanya!
