Does anyone here like to watch TV online? I find myself watching more TV on my laptop than on an actual TV. What websites do people like to go to so they can watch their favorite shows (legally)? I like hulu, but I'm looking for other sites, too.

I do that all the time! My schedule is so bizarre that it's tough to be home to catch some of my favorite shows. Hulu is great - some of the networks (speaking as an American!) have their shows up on their own web sites... try nbc.com, abc.com, etc. Handy to be able to watch whenever you want to.

You know i really do like like the idea of having tv on the computer I find it is a waste of time , as well as money . Why pay for the cable that goes to your tv and then watching it on your comp you are wasting your money

I do not watch much television probably because I do not have one. I do watch television shows on my computer (legally). I usually go to the network site to view shows I am interested in watching.

I use TVUPlayer to watch TV online. They had channels such as fox before but was removed because of legal issues.

I don't really like to watch TV but when I do, I use my cable service. I can watch it online but it is not really practical when it comes to doing it with the kids and not everything they want to see is available online either. So, for me, it is still cable network rather than the laptop.

I only watch tv online if the dvr didn't tape right. Last night I taped Drop Dead Diva and 1/2 way threw the show, my husband stopped it. I didn't realize until I went to watch it this morning. Thank goodness for being able to watch it online! I usually just go to the stations website to catch the show I want to see.

I only watch TV online if I miss a show and didn't DVR it. I have a couple of friends who watch everything through the internet. Not sure why they do this. I would rather watch TV on a bigger screen anyday than on my computer screen.

I don't see any point in watching TV online really, unless its a missed episode of something. Otherwise the normal TV is fine! I suppose its easier for those who don't get to watch programs they want to or don't have a cable or dish connection.

Funny you'd mention this. I don't really like watching TV on a TV anymore.. I've become OBSESSED with watching movies online and also YouTube. It's cool how many things you can watch online! You can find practically anything!! I've become addicted.. it's true

I've always found TV online to be useful because they post a lot of cable shows. I don't have cable, so that helps me out a lot. A lot of people are canceling their cable subscriptions and saving money by just watching their cable shows online.
