The Bold and the Beautiful is a popular American television soap opera. It is often refers to as just B&B. The show is totally fictional is set in the city of Los Angeles in California.

The show Bold and Beautiful is based around the Forrester family. It also involves the family’s fashion house business known as Forrester Creations. The program features an ensemble cast. The cast was headed by the long-serving actors Susan Flannery who starred as Stephanie Forrester, John McCook who played Eric Forrester, Katherine Kelly Lang in the role of Brooke Logan and Ronn Moss playing the character of Ridge Forrester. The soap opera was created by William J. Bell and Lee Phillip Bell. It was developed as a sister show as compared to their other soap opera, The Young and the Restless.

The Bold and Beautiful is currently holding a position as the only soap opera in America that has a running time of 30 minutes. Also it is the only soap opera that simulcasts in Spanish with the help of a SAP technology designed for the Spanish speaking viewers in the United States.

Since the day of its premiere on CBS Daytime on the 23rd of March, 1987, The Bold and Beautiful has become the most-watched soap opera in the world. it has an estimated audience of 26.2 million viewers from more than 110 countries around the world.

Since the show ‘Passions’ was cancelled on 7th of August in the year 2008. The Bold and Beautiful is set to retake its place as the youngest American daytime soap opera still playing on television. The title was taken away from The Bold and Beautiful title since it held it for the last time in the year, it has not since the year, 1989.

It's been on TV since I can remember or it feels like that. I stopped watching it long ago. It's just too far fetched and it drags. You can watch once a month and still knows what it going on.
