Default How many hours should we watch the television?

It is not good to watch the television all day. Aside from you'll get tired from sitting the whole day, your eyes will be tired as well. I wonder, how many hours should we watch the television?

Well, if I don't really have nothing to do, I could spend my whole day watching films. By the way, do you wash your face after watching tv?

I don't really watch TV - but if you value other things in life such as reading, outside activities and spending time with love ones, I would say about an hour should be enough. The television doesn't have much to offer that is valuable to anyone as far as I am concerned.

Yeah I usually watch tv for more or less 5hours a day. Especially when PC games aren't entertaining me. And oh I don't wash my face after watching tv because it's tired I let it rest for a moment then wash it afterwards.

Continuously less than an hour and with breaks in between 3hrs is suggested, anyway, watching television is not benefial for us unless we are bored up of our regular work, once in a while we can watch but not continuously, i don't have television in our house why because i feel it's waste of time instead of that we can do achaive many other things, i wash my face after watching television if at all i watch it in any other place.

I always to see to it that I'm done everything if I watched TV. I mean, like washing my face or took my shower. I know a friend of mine who wash her face no matter how many hours she spent her time on a computer or TV. Do you think its not harmful?

I don't know how many hours is supposed to be the healthy amount. I don't really keep track. I watch a lot of shows online.

Its okay to watch tv during spare time or as relaxation. But one does not have to relax for more than an hour or two.

Hmm.. in one day? I would say probably no more than three hours a day. Honestly, I've been there, where all I did was watch tv all day and it just makes you really lazy and not have any energy or will to get anything done. I'm trying to stay away from tv, but it's going to be hard now that I have a tv in my room. I'm trying to get outside and walk more. I really have been dying to go swimming lately!! It sounds like fun!!

There's a large body of water near you I hear ;-)

I am not sure if they allow swimming in Lake Tahoe.

That's very true. And I have good news!! My bf just told me that you are allowed to swim there. I guess it's only 45 mins away. We should really get there one of these days!! I have like 3 or 4 bathing suits with me so I think I'm all set there, and I have my new tan.. well, burn that luckily became a tan, but I'm peeling. ewwww lol

TV is not such a big problem for me. 1 or 2 hours a day is more than enough. Sitting in front of the computer is a bigger problem. I don't think that is good either.

There's where my problem lies.. the computer. I can't help it. I'm just a member for SOOOO many sites. I can't get away from it. Plus, as you can see, I write a lot lol
