I would like to visit Iran but how safe is it for visitors?

With everything going on over there, my gut tells me no. I would say, really look into it before going and please be safe!!

With everything that's going on in that nation these days, plus other things that seem to be impending, I don't think Iran is a safe place to be in these days.

With so many other places to visit, why choose Iran? There are plenty more safe places on this wide beautiful world.

I would not go there, especially if you're American or resemble a Caucasian person (no offense). If you're Caucasian, they'll probably assume that you're American or European. There are plenty of other places to go, places that don't hate Westerners.
