I've already got my degree, but I have been thinking about going back to school, a language school. I want to learn French, and I'm trying to think of where would be the best place for me to study. I'm thinking Canada. Any suggestions?

Well it's good to explore new things. Why not just go to a french school where everyone is speaking french there you can learn fast. You will hear french terms every day. ) Don't forget to grab some translator there. Btw if you hear a word bite in french that's a bad word.

When it comes to studying languages, going to the country where the language is spoken is the best choice. You will immerse yourself in it and learn much faster since you will hear and use it not only in class but everywhere else. I don't know much about Canadian schools, but I think a simple online search will provide you with all kinds of options. |

I would love to study abroad, but I think I'd rather go to Europe! I've been studying Spanish for 2 semesters and I've found that talking with people who speak Spanish is the most helpful thing. Canada does have French as one of its main languages, I think, so it might be a good place to start if you don't want to go to someplace like France.

Canada seems like the type of place that can be a home away from home because of its proximity to the United States. I've always wanted to go to Canada, and I am absolutely fascinated with its bilingual culture. After I've gotten better, I think I'll eventually go on to study in France, Belgium, or even Switzerland.

The topic of French-speaking Canadians never seems to come up much here in the United States. I think Canadian people might be friendlier than the French people.

Oh you think so? Hmm I can say that it's easier to communicate with canadians since they're bilinguals. Going to france without knowing french can sometimes be a hassle. It's like talking to an alien for directions haha.
