In the beautiful hills of Himachal Pradesh in India, there is a small place called Dharamshala, it is a holy place og Buddhists and the abode of The great Dalailama. I find profound peace and satisfaction when ever i visit there.

I have heard many good things about DharamShala, and many of my friends have been there, and also said it is a very peaceful place. Being a hilly area though, i suppose the best time to visit would be during April to June.

Dharamsala is one of the fine spot of Himachal Pradesh(specifically in Kangra District).Tourist has divided Dharamsala into three part lower,middle and upper.Upper part is actually McLeodganj where Dalai Lama and Buddhist monastery present and natural view is very clear specially Dhauladhar range also very lonely place.
Tourist spot --

• Very old Shiva Temple 'Vagsunath' (at McLeodganj)

• Dhauladhar range and peak

• Dal Lake & Kareri Lake with fine pine view

• Finally the Buddhist Monastery

Distance--From Dalhousie 162 Km, Amritsar--192 KM,

Session -- Oct-Nov otherwise Apr--June
I will recommend October because that is not peak session also normally climate is very fine that time.

Dhauladhar Range

Its a beautiful picture of Dharam Shala Rupu, thanks for sharing.

I was unaware of the Shiva Temple Vagsunath in Dharam Shala....its a shame I did not visit.

Maybe whenever I make a visit there will make sure I go to the temple.
