Just this month, when my son rode a public utility vehicle, I saw a small kid, about 5 or six years old. He was sucking his thumb like crazy. For the whole trip, 90 % of the time he was sucking his thumb. Some time he would pull out his thumb and stare at it. The mother is just beside him, doing nothing to stop the kid from thumb sucking. what are your views on thumb sucking? do you think it is still normal for a 5 or 6 years old kid to thumb suck? |

No, that seems way too old. Kids should be like one year, maybe two max when they stop doing that. It could really mess up their teeth

Yes, I think 5 is too old. We used a product called "Thumbuddy To Love" to help stop thumb sucking. It is fun and cute and it teaches kids to prevent thumb sucking. you can get it on Amazon or google it...
