At age three the child will show a lot of intellectual development. The child will now say short sentences. He or she may even say up to two to three sentences in one go to surprise you. One can see growth in communication of the child. He/she will tell simple stories that you would have narrated to them or will tell you small incidences that happen. They make also narrate you the conversation that they have with their grandparents. They will now use words as tools of thought. He/she would want to understand environment, answers questions, imaginative and may recite few nursery rhymes.
