My daughters semi-formal was yesterday and it was a success. She had so much fun and looked gorgeous! I ended up painting her nails for her because she was just too busy to get an appointment at the salon.

I do have to say I'm glad it's over-- although I bet she wishes there was a semi-formal dance every weekend.

Boy she is growing up too quick!

Sometimes there is no time for the salon, so mom has to step up and do the nails.

You got it Antk... No time anymore... I'm thinking of taking her and my niece to get our nails done this weekend on Saturday.

She went with a bunch of friends. I won't let her date yet- she is only 12. She said she danced with some boys- I'm ok with that... but she went with friends.

That's soo cute!! I never went to any High School dances and I really wish I would have. How fun!!

It would be nice if I would see my daughter dress up like a lady. It seems that we are not getting any younger. Did you let her enjoy the rest of the night or you had curfews? It would be hard for me to allow my daughter to stay outside late at night. Unless of course if she is an adult already.
