What is a good age to stop the friends birthday party. My daughter will be 13 in September. I am thinking this can be the last year until she is 16. You know becoming a teenager... then the sweet 16. Of course we would still have the family party. My daughter is going to 2 birthday parties this week- 1 on Thursday and 1 on Friday. both 13's. I'm thinking it's a good year to stop! |

I would agree. Possibly allow her to have a small friend get-together (~3 friends) for the 14th and 15th birthdays, such as going to an inexpensive restaurant, to the movies, to the mall...

I agree 13 is a good age to stop and then before the 16th she can go do something with her friends like the cinema, or lunch, and maybe have a bit of a get together with family.

| Honestly, I think 17 or 18.. it just depends on the teen and what they want and guess and how willing you are to deal with all the kids running around hahaha

Birthday parties should be stop when your kids reach high school. I think they are too old for birthday parties. A small gathering would be fine. To make a change, they could invite some friends to sleep over and to enjoy the rest of her especial day. What do you think?
