When do you think is the best age to have the sex talk? I think it will vary from child to child, but once they start getting curious and asking more detailed questions, it's best to not lie to them. There's a big difference between innocent questions and the questions where you know the kid is ready to hear the truth. Who first told you about sex? It was my mom, because my dad got all embarrassed lol

Some school offers sex education in high school. This is the time where teenagers keep on asking about sex. Parents should also teach their children about sex and explain to them why do people do it and why. Parents should not lie about sex because it will just make them more curious about it.

It does definitely depend on the age of the child and to give as much information in a language they understand and that is suitable for their age. My son was told last year the whole lot by a boy in his class and we had to tidy up what he told him and I can tell you my son was so not ready for it, it hit him bad and he was so confused and he now has so much sex information that is overloading his brain and he constantly thinks people are having sex all over the place, so it is important that they are not too early.
