Most of you might have received their share of spankings from parents as a kid. Please share what all punishments did you got in school and at home.
At Home – Mom had a rattan cane which she use to beat me on hands (for minor mistakes) and on legs and bottoms for serious mistakes.
Dad hardly punished me. I think he only punished me 2 or 3 times. He gave hard strokes with rattan cane on palm of hands.

In School – There is a long list – Murga, Siteups, Caning on Palm of hands , knuckles and legs.
I feel caning on knuckles is worst punishment.

I have received a caning on my knuckles when I was in III Std for bad handwriting!! I can never forget the incident or the teacher who punished me!1 But after that my handwriting improved tremendously and I maintained good handwriting till I completed my studies!! When I was doing my PG, many of my class mates used to appreciate my hand writing. Till today I remember that teacher with gratitude!!

I was only spanked once in my life as a child. It was when I was told not to go past a certain street and I did anyways. Other than that it was mostly just groundings.

In school I was never in trouble I had one teacher who use to spank kids in front of the class with a yardstick.

At home
I wouldn't be allowed to go out, or I would get spanked from my mom's ex husband (that was a LONG time ago, when I was like 10 or so). I don't think my mom ever spanked me once in my life. She would always threaten to slap me though lol. I wish she would have, so I could have done it back

At school
I never really got into any trouble at school. All my teachers liked me

No, never after that one incident!! I was a good student through out, always a topper in my class and very obedient too!! So there was no occasion for the teachers even to scold me

I was also good in studied. I use to get punished in school mostly for keeping long nails and applying nail paints..I am crazy for nail paints...

My childhood days were really horrible and sad. My parents would not let me out of the house except for school. And if I violate their overly dramatic rules they'll punish me with spank or slap. >.< I think I spent half of my childhood days crying!

I was spanked when I acted bad. I didn't act bad a lot, so when I was spanked, I remembered it. I also had things taken away from me like dessert. I remember my mom forcing me to watch my own ice cream melt because I didn't ask before getting some.

When I was a kid, my parents' favorite punishment for me to stand in the corner facing the wall for what seemed to me at the time as ''forever'' - which was perhaps about 10 or 15 minutes. At school, we had to write things like ''I will not talk during the class'' or any other offense committed, during the recess or after school.
