My daughter seems to befriend kids that don't have great family lives. Of course not all of her friends are this way, but some of them are. I feel bad for them.

It's sad when they come up and we play games or go shopping. I hear a lot of my mom doesn't do this with me.

My daughter and I take "girls day out" and go shopping, to the movies, to the park, somewhere just the 2 of us.

I think that with the friends that she has, she has grown to really appreciate our relationship.

It is a sad fact but there are a lot of kids who are missing that special connection with their parents nowadays. Most parents seem to be too busy to want to spend quality time with their children. I understand that we all have a lot to do but I am also convinced that a parent's first priority should always be their children.

It is important that the parents have a good relationship with their kids. wherein the kids can open up to their parents as well as they can go out together. it is important also that the parents know the friends of their kids, so they could still guide them.

I think that is a very common problem nowadays. Parents don't have time with their kids because of work which is of course unacceptable. You are a great mom. You could be their mother if they like to. What do you think?

Your daughter is going to look back and treasure these special things that the two of you have done. This is what is going to stick with her when she becomes a mother too.

It is sad that some kids don't have any special time with their parents.
