No way do I feel like I'm old enough to be a mom to a teenager. Man where did my little girl go?I'm going to cherish every day with her even more now that she is a teenager and soon heading off to college. Sure it's another 5 years-- but the 1st 13 flew right by. |

LOL, I know where you're coming from. We recently celebrated my older daughter's 10th birthday. She is still far from the college and even being a teenager; however, they are growing up so fast these days that time seem to fly without us even noticing it. I can still remember when she was in her training pants! I agree with you on cherishing every moment. Whenever I get a little impatient with my kids, I always remind myself that they won't be around forever and will go their own way in a few years. Even though that makes me a little sad, it also allows me to appreciate them more.

| I don't have kids but I can relate, because my little sister is like a daughter to me. She recently got her permit and I was CRYING MY EYES OUT. It's insane to see kids grow up. It's like.. you wanna make sure to have tons of pictures and videos to make sure that you keep the memories, because once they're gone, they're never coming back. My little sister is such an amazing person. She is so smart for her age. Never have I known a 15 year old that could give advice to ME (I'm 20) on things that she has never even experienced in her life and have it make perfect sense. I can't wait for her to go off to college and to fall in love. I want her to be happy and also be the amazing person she is today.
