Is anyone looking forward to watching the Winter Olympics next year? Which sports will you watch? When it was in Turin in 2006 was my first time watching, and it is not as exciting as the Summer Olympics, but I'll still watch.

I will probably be watching some of it - but not all because it just gets boring after a while just like anything else on TV.

I know what you mean. I know I won't be watching all of it or else I'd never be able to go to bed. I think I'll watch some ice skating and maybe a little skiing. Winter sports just aren't as interesting.

The only reason I ever really watched the Olympics was because my grandma would. Since she's gone, I'm not sure if I'll watch them. I think skiiing is pretty cool though.. not sure if that's part of it haha.

When it comes to the Winter Olympics, it's hard to think of all the games that exist. I can only think of a handful. I guess it's because it's not that cold where I live, so the sports themselves aren't as popular.

I like the winter olympics. My favorite sport is the figure skating. I also like to races and bob sledding. The opening and closing ceremonies do not keep my attention.

I like figure skating, too, but I'm the only one at my house who actually enjoys watching it. How are the opening ceremonies? I've never seen them for the Winter Olympics before. Are they at all exciting?
