Michael Jordan is an example to be followed. He's a great human being who helped so many people in the sports field and personal life. People who know him say that he's so humble and concern about everyone. Is there any sportsperson you look up to? |

I think a sports role model for me would be someone like Sania Mirza, because being from India it can be difficult for a girl to continue with a career in sports and all, and I really admire her for concentrating on her sport and doing well and making her country feel proud.

MJ made a lot of mistakes in life. He cheated on his wife and gambled, if I remember correctly. I'm not saying he wasn't an awesome player and he might have been a great role model for younger players. A role model to me is Troy Palamalu from the Steelers. He is a loving husband and has not gotten into any trouble. A real class act on and off the field. |

| I'm not really into sports. If I had to pick someone it would be Ken Griffey Jr. I don't know much about him, but I used to really like him when I was young, I lived in Seattle and was soooo excited to see him on like my 10th bday I think it was.. He seems nice

@ Abeja - so how exactly do you see him as a role model??????????? Or you just like him and the fact you met him on your 10th birthday???? For me my role model in the sports field would be Jessica Schipper who's an Australian swimmer! She ranks 6th best in the world, and I admire her to be so good and dedicated to her swimming and simply being such a good swimmer.........(Yeh im someone who loves swimming) |
