Default What's the Best Winter Moisturizer?

I've got the winter itch- meaning super itchy, irritated gross, red skin. I always use baby lotion because I know it's okay for sensitive skin, it has a nice light scent and it's pretty good usually, but I think I might need to step it up.

What lotion do you use? If you don't use lotion, what's your alternative? And while we're at it, what's your favorite scent?

Jergens intense moisturizer the yellow one
I have extremely dry skin and this is the one thing that helps (if i use it regularly.. usually i apply when my skin is so dry tha i can see white marks )

baby lotions won't help coz they have the least moisturizing content ... you should try unfragraced varieties of intense moisturizers

I think it depends upon person to person on what their skin is like.

I have oily skin, so during winter times I use Vaseline Intensive Care, which works fine for me, and keeps my skin moisturized during the winter.

Where as my sister who had quite dry skin uses a Garnier moisturizer, cant think of which one but its a Garnier one.

Hi,

I think jyoti is right that it depends on skin that what type of moisturizer suits you. Well, i use to use Dove lotion to keep my skin fresh and glowing, and o think it works very well on my skin.

I adore and use the new Parachute advansed body lotion.. I have to admit that the ad got me itching to buy the product! I have been using it for a few months now and the coconut milk in the ingredients has really helped to make my skin feel smoother and softer too. I've been happily recommending it to my friends and family!

Seems like the Parachute advansed lotion is quite good then, been to the shops a few times thought of buying it but always opted for the general body lotion Vasaline Care. Maybe I should give the Parachute lotion a try too.

I know some people actually just stick to one body lotion, and some change it all the time, which is better to do?

Hey Neetu I have used a variety of lotions over the last few years and tend to stick with the ones that work. I got tired of the one I had been using for over a year and decided to try Parachute advansed body lotion on a whim. So far it has worked really well for me during the winter season. I will keep using it for some time to come.

I have no idea which is better to keep changing or to use one product for a long time. I think it would depend on the weather, seasons and also your individual skin type.

I dont think it really matters whether you change your moisturizer or keep the same one, as long as it suits your skin its fine.

Personally for me the best winer moisturizer is Garnier Bodycocoon It has an amazing smell and works very well during the winter time. Its slightly costlier than the average price of moisturizers but worth it.
