my kid got varicella or chicken pox and i'm afraid i'd get it too...to be prepared, i'm searching for some of the most effective ways to get rid of the scars and spots that the disease could leave behind. one of the most common tips i got is to avoid scratching but that doesn't guarantee that you'll be free from scars and spots right?

Only one of my boys has a scar from when he had chicken pox. Like you said, make sure they don't pick or scratch them. My kids were always coated with calomine lotion to keep the itching to a minimum. Once the scar is there, I guess you could do what you would for stretch marks. Maybe use Vitamin E on the scar to help. |
