Orange contains hesperidin. Hesperidin and the pectin in oranges lower cholesterol according to the medical studies. Hesperidin is found in higher concentration in the inner white peel and white pulp of the orange. Also, according to Arthritis Research Campaign Epidemiology Unit in the UK, about one glass of freshly squeezed orange juice a day reduces the risk of rheumatoid arthritis.

We all need oranges and vitamin C in our body. It would help us get protected from being sick. I don't eat orange a lot everyday but I do take Vitamin C everyday.
