I need some tips on how to prevent and get rid of existing black heads. I have always had them since my teen, particularly on my chin and across my nose.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Have you ever used Proactiv? For me, it gets rid of everything and you don't even need to use that much. (It varies by person). Honestly, I've been using the same bottle now for almost a YEAR!

Another thing I've done is used toothpaste. I'm not sure how good it is for your skin, but it really dries things up fast and gets rid of them.. especially if the blackhead does become an actual pimple. Hope that helps!!
