If you have oily skin then you must wash your face with medicated soap or face wash meant for oily skin. You can also use a mixture of milk cream, gram flour and lemon for you skin to extract the extra oil. The use of astringents is also advisable as it tightens and dries the skin.

Oily skin needs special cleansing with plenty of hot water and soap to prevent the pores from being clogged. limit washing your face to two or three times a day. Too much washing will stimulate your skin to produce more oil. Drink plenty of quality water to keep the skin hydrated and flush out toxins.

I've got both oily and dry skin. My facial skin is oily I do not use medicated soap, I am afraid that my skin would get used to it, and if don't get to use med soaps, there would be bad side effects... I just wash my face with water before going to bed.

Wow great post beauty girl. My concept is once you have oily skin all you got is only the disadvantages. Not thinking that there’s also an advantage on it. But in the other way around how to make your dry skin become oily? Any idea?
