Default Damages that winter can cause to skin

Cold temperature is very damaging for our skin. The dry air in winter can result in dry itchy skin. In winter, when we use heaters and central heating will actually invite problems like dryness of the skin. Heaters dry our skin. If you have dry skin then skin disorders need special attention in the winter. Some common skin problems that can occur during winter are rashes, flakiness, eczema and psoriasis, dryness, wrinkles, redness and irritation. You need to moisturize your skin well to get rid of these problems. A good oil massage over the body twice a week can do the magic.

I agree with you Faaria, that winter time can cause a lot of damage to skin and especially to those who already have dry skin!

Moisturizing the skin is the best solution, and it is always good to moisturize the skin straight after a shower!

Johnson's baby oil is something good to use after a shower, it makes your skin feel good and moisturizes it well!

in order to nourish the skin in winters, just apply some honey on your face in night mixed with rose water. keep it for 30 minutes and then wash it off. now apply some good quality moisturizer. you will surely a better skin in few days.

You can say that again. I am one who has very dry skin type. And during the wet and cold seasons, I really invest on some good amount of moisturizers and lotions just to keep my skin from being flaky dry!

From all the brands I have tried, I found Jergens Ultra Dry Skin Lotion the one which made me satisfied. I would go places if theyre not available near me.

It is also a good idea to use sunblock even in the winter. People don't realize that since it is wintertime the sun can still damage your face.

Using a good moisturizer with sunscreen is the best way to protect your face.
