Default Getting Married in 2months

Have had enough of single life so getting married now, well in 2months to be precise! My fiance and me knew each other as family friends, but just recently started liking each other, so luckily i know him from before.

Im having kind of mixed feelings now getting nervous, sad and happy and excited at the same time, although my main aim is to lose weight, which i can hopefully complete (here is the link about my aim to lose weight http://www.womensforum.in/exercise/948-3-hours-exercise-day.html).

How many of you are getting married this year, how are you feeling?

That is nice, you getting married. The transition from being single to being married is quite simple. Though there will be some adjustments you need to do when living together as couples.

You need to lose weight to fit into your gown. Also, you need to maintain you weight because when you have a child, you will gain more. Try to minimize food intake.

Congrats!

Hi! Jyothi, Nice to here from you that very soon you are getting married, i wish you best of luck for your marriage, coming to weight reduction, if your over weight, you have to loose weight thinking very seriously in this matter, why because, after marriage nobody can loose weight due to the variation in dietery habbits, and it will become difficult for you in conceiving a child.

First of all congrats Jyoti!

Come one people give the girl a break, let her lose her weight and give her support instead of scaring her of getting into a marriage and the after affects of having a kid.

Im sure you will be able to lose weight and be your required size, good luck in that and all the best for your wedding day!

Keep us posted on how your doing with your weight loss too!

Congrats on your upcoming wedding. Don't stess out about loosing weight. Your fiancee proposed to you and loves you just the way you are.

I have been married for 21 yrs, but my son was married this year.

I think it is very natural to go threw all of the emotions that you have described.

My warm congratulation to you, jyoti! Don't worry about your weight more, this could only add stress to you. For me, it's just a normal feeling that you'll experienced a mixed emotion when you're about to get married. Can you now imagine walking with a red carpet and your groom is fiance is waiting for you? Isn't it exciting?

That's one of the best thing that would happen to a woman, to get married. What did you feel while walking to your groom, guys? Well, I think it's quite exciting and a little bit nervous?

I think that's a great goal. I'm sure you're nervous, very normal. I can't even imagine what it would feel like to get married. That's such a major commitment. Tell us all about it when you get back.. and if you have pics I would LOVE to see... lol I'm nosey I'm sorry haha

Congrats Jyoti

I will not talk about after marriage effects and all as i got no good knowledge about it but all I can say here is about loosing weight in proper way and time, to loose weight you can try few basic things

Try to look for Liquid Diet
Try to avoid the real Indian breakfast (aalo ka parantha)
Try to jog/walk every morning/evening for at least 45 minutes, it will really help you a lot
If possible then you can buy one exercise cycle which you can use at home, suggesting you this because i know most of the girls never feel comfortable riding cycle in streets.
Try to sleep on time and wake up on time, this helps in digestion process and keeps your digestive system healthy.
Sauna and steam bath is other option which you can try easily but beware that it makes you loose lot of body water.
Avoid heavy fruits like banana, cheeko, mango
Juice of half a lemon mixed in a glass of warm water and a teaspoon of honey (take this early morning and it really works)

I will try to look some more tips and feedback is always welcome
