Totally it's like having a total freedom from anyone. But here at our house even if you're single you still can't be the boss of your life because parents are the boss. I really miss my gal friends who have been so busy lately.

though I am single no more, I still think that being single is really cool and it really rocks. not only you have the freedom for yourself, and go out, date guys, and have fun with friends without thinking of someone waiting at home or worrying that someone won't allow you to go out.

I like your way of thinking! Sounds like a good life to me. Wish I was strong enough to do that. But, I'm in a happy relationship anyway, so all is good

Ofcourse there are many advantages of being single. But I find it's difficult for girls. For a safety and security purpose girls need to do marriage. It's OK as far as one is with their parents. The question is with whom the girl will spend life after the death of her parents. Also our society norms are like this that one has to marry. Late or early but have to do.

otherwise I strongly admire being single. I really find it difficult to answer the why, what & where etc. i like to live my life at my own.

Chanchal, why do you feel this way? Have you seen problems in
married couples in your family of friends circle?

Of course being single or married is absolutely your own choice and
I am not here to make a value judgement, but would like to understand
why people feel a particular way.
