I'm curious because my friends been asking me about it.. and I met my bf before I met him online, but through the internet is where we really got to know eachother.. confusing I know. Sorry about that hahahaha

I think it's a great way to meet someone.. I mean.. you can really get to know someone through talking online... it gives you the chance to go as fast or as slow as you want... and you can be choosey.

I actually met my boyfriend online... not through a dating site, but through facebook of all places.... we have a mutual friend and were talking to each other through his page... then became friends.. started talking all the time and went from there.

I have friends who have met their mates online as well.... I mean, today everyone does everything online... chat, shop, pay bills, play games... why not date as well?

I met my boyfriend from a chatroom three years ago. We were just friends, but I love having conversation with him. After a few months of chatting, he asked me to go out with him. I refused because I never wanted to meet anyone I knew from the internet. I never trust anyone especially if that the opposite sex. Heh. He kept on persuading me to go out with him, and then I finally said yes. We had a date in some restaurant. It was fun! And right after meeting him, I got a crush on him! LOL LOL. He told me that he liked me too, and from then on, we are already boy and girl friends!

I guess it is really possible to date online and end up being together, because in a way people can get to know each other through posts or chatting. as long as both parties are being true and honest with each other. other than that,after they meet they will still feel if they can continue the relationship or not.

That's right redamethyst. Just be honest and everything would go on smoothly! Well we are in the modern world, and I do not see anything wrong with online dating! Haha, remembering the good old days electricutes me! LOL

Is your husband from different country? My sister would like to try online dating but I don't think it's a good idea. Did you encounter some difficulty when you tried this process? How were you able to tell that he is the one?

I met my husband on myspace! He had just moved here and was trying to find some decent metal shows to go to lol... I'm soooooo not into his music, but we got to talking alot and would hang out some (as friends) and it turned into more.

I guess it really depends on the people you meet. I know it doesn't always work out for everyone. I have a lot of friends who have been quite disappointed with their experiences, but some people are lucky enough to find real love as well. Even though I met my husband online, I would also agree that old-fashioned dating is still the most effective way as well.

Online dating? I don't know....I spend a lot of time online, but I don't want to meet anyone that way. If I met someone online, that would be like admitting to myself that I spend too much of my life on the internet. I think dating is at least one thing that I would like to do that isn't in front of a computer.

Hey everybody...
I'm type of in a very tough spot proper now.. My automobile needs a brand new transmission yet it costs just about $1000!! I'm finding paid in a number of days so I thought I will just appply for a payday loan and return the dollars after I get paid... I just can't live without a vehicle, particularly now that I have children... The dilemma is I don't actually have a good credit history.. Essentially it is a pretty poor credit... Do you guys know about a good honest lender who delivers ? I would appreciate some genuine responses and thoughts, or even far better your expertise with them.
