Aww, I'm sure that's not true, but I know what you mean. It does seem like that. I'm finding more and more that just hanging out with friends, you can randomly meet guys.. at libraries, the store etc. you just have to come up with a way to talk to them.. That's the tough part

You can always look for one at facebook. I always meet single guys over the internet.

Myspace and Facebook seem pretty scary to me, but I guess if you meet up in a public place and get to know the person in "real life" then it should be fine. The people that "date" online, and have never even met the person, worry me. What if that person isn't who they say they are: age-wise, belief-wise? I dunno.. I think finding a person to hang out with from he net is fine (I've never done it) but you must quickly change it into a real life relationship in order to know if you really can date that person

well, you can just go out with common friends, meet other guys through a friend.
Trying to meet people online is not that safe. How sure are you that these guys are really single.

I met my husband through an online dating service. It worked very well for us. I don't know what the big concern is with meeting men online. It's just a way to be introduced to a broader range of people.

Hello Zara! Good for you, you found your husband on an online dating service. There are really nice guys on the net but of course there are those who are not. I just know someone who met her boyfriend online and in the end, the guy just broke her heart. It would be difficult to find the right guy online.

I met my previous boyfriend at church and he broke my heart. I think that it's just normal that a lot of us will have relationships that end in heartbreak! I do think that it's important to be extra careful when meeting men online though. I used to have an online dating guide... I'll have to see if I can find it and post it in this section.
