Default Chivalry

Do you believe in chivalry? How do you feel about that like men opening doors for women and all of the behavior associated with being a gentleman?

I really believe that there are men who don't do it because they have to, but because they want to. My bf is a perfect example of this. He just really likes helping others and being nice and friendly. He's the kind of person who says hello to random people on the street. It's so new for me. I love it!!

It's funny that some men will say that chivalry is dead because women killed it. I may in fact be one of those women because I'm not a big fan of it. I don't want anyone to be nice to be me because they think that I'm weaker or that I need the help. I want to feel independent, and I don't like asking for help.

The nice thing about my bf is, he knows I can do things on my own, but he loves helping. He doesn't just help women, he offers to help men too. Or opens doors for other men. He treats everyone with the same respect and kindness. It's the cutest thing I've ever seen!

I wonder if they are still alive lolz. Nowadays boys will only be nice to girls when they are dating but once they've settled for a steady relationship they became mad then chaos arrives haha. There are only a few who still have this kind of personality I have one at hand.

I do think women killed it and for me it is not about assuming because you are a woman you are weak, it is just being nice, considerate and friendly. I am nice to people because I think you should treat others the way you want to be treated yourself, not because I see weaker people. Although I am a woman, I do feel sorry for the guys sometimes. Whats wrong with just being nice?

Well there's nothing wrong with being nice, I would never wanted to be treated like a nobody. Being around with a person who will treat you nicely always makes me feel that I'm important.

Chivalry is an old english concept of attitudes to women dating to ancient times.. In essence it pertains to decency in behaviour to women..
I am really in favour of men who who has honourable behaviour to women..
Chivalry is not just men opening doors to women or such acts of kindness and care.. Law of chivalry also covers activities like protecting women from danger, never injuring a women, ensuring the safety of women first and all.. Its not just about being kind it is also about being brave and thoughtfull..
