Would you date a man like your father? A lot of people say that women are attracted to men who remind them of their father. What do you think? Is that true?

I am sorry to say this, but no, no way. My father was a good man, but he did nothing around the house and expected to be served. It's watching him that had made me state at a very early age that I would never get married.

I would not want to date a man like my father. My dad is an angry drunk and he is basically a bum who will never be able to support himself.

However, I love my older brother and would love to have someone like him. My current bf is that and much, much more. I couldn't ask for more!!

Not a chance, I hated how my father disciplines us so I would never date a man who has same personalities as him. Even though he's a responsible guy he's still insensitive and always has a problem socializing with his kids.

My dad was a good man, but I would never, ever, ever want to date or marry a man like him. It's not because he had some qualities about him that I didn't care for, but because I am a lot like him. I'm more like my dad than my brother is, so dating someone like my dad would be more like me dating myself.

I think girls tend to look for guys who have the same attributes as their father. My dad is a quite person. He's more of an introvert. So I also tend to be attracted to guys who are quite. I don't like loud people...those that always want to be the center of attention.

Depends if who or what are the attitudes of your father. There are some cases in some areas where fathers raped their daughters. With this, you still want to date someone like your dad?

I am with a guy who reminds me of my dad. I have never noticed this, until about 3 months ago. We were eating at my parents house, and my mom and i where doing the dishes. My dad and my guy were still sitting at the dinner table. Both laid back in a chair with a beer and a smirk. That's when it hit me.. they both get very excited about the same things, they have the same humor, and they both have a mustache (he won't shave it of! )

Well Natalie thats a good thing! Most parents always kind of come out with some thing wrong with their daughters guy, well this wont happen with you, so your lucky in that way!
